Are You New to New Life Church?
Here are some answers to FAQs

Q. What is the church like?

A. We are a small country church with Traditional New England Congregational architecture, nestled in among the trees on the quiet back roads of Ashford.  Our worship is a blend of Traditional Hymns and Contemporary music with prayer woven through.  We have guitar, piano, drums and bass and the worship team is always growing.

Q. Where do I park?

A. If you need rollable access to the sanctuary, park near the handicap parking sign on the West Side of the church.  There is a paved parking area and a gravel parking area on the East Side of the church and an overflow parking lot, across the street, South of the church.

Q. What should I wear?

A. Come as you are, there is no dress code, but please dress modestly.  Wear your Sunday best, or jeans and a tee shirt.  Our pastor often preaches and leads worship barefoot, ask him why and he'll tell you the story.

Q. How can I get connected?

A. You will find a connection card near the hymnal when you sit down.  You can write down your prayer requests and your contact information, along with any questions you might have and drop it in the offering plate.  You won't have to work hard to get connected.  You are bound to make some friends just by walking in the door and more than welcome to talk with the pastor after service.

Q. Why did the church change it's name?

A. The Congregational Church in Ashford dates back to the late 1700s.  The name of the church has changed several times in it's history, the building was struck by lightening twice, moved and rebuilt, burned to the ground, and was rebuilt again.  In 2020, extensive work was done re-writing the church manual and a new vision for the church was born.  In 2023 our new pastor began his ministry and over the last few years the church has grown in an entirely new direction.  The new name is the natural next step as our church moves forward into all that Jesus has prepared for us.
